A new way of painting and a start of a new business....

I have started painting again after many years and I have decided that I will sell at a few local craft shows and fairs in my area.  I have also started a Etsy shop.  I know a few of you still check back here from time to time....and no I won't be painting crocks this time but I hope you like what you see.

Cute Whimsical painted crocks

 

I love the way these came out!  Perfect gift for friends, sisters, neighbors.....they will be at the Woodson show.....I have painted lots  :)

Snowmen:    I made a few cute snowman buckets this week....each contains a cute wool felt snowman, a woodsy tree or two, pip berries, greenery, grungy tealight or candle and tags that sais "In the meadow we can build a snowman"/ " Think Snow"/

" I  love Snowdays"  and each snowman has a rusty bell and another little tag that says "Cold twigs, Warm heart" / "brrrrrr"

Teacher Gifts-  I starting making a few teacher gifts this past week.  I did some wool felt apples with cinnamon stick stems $6.00 and some small teacher crocks  $10.00 - $12.00.....sold everyone on Sat with ABC~123.....I will have more available for next show......

Ghosts....Witches...and Candy Corn oh my

OK I decided last week to try something new.....I thought it would be cute to have my crocks filled with things...pumpkins....snowmen...sunflowers...gingerbreadmen...crows...you get the idea...well this is what I came up with ....and I sold everyone of them but 2....I of course am sewing my little fingers off for this weeks show at King George.....

I found a a great coffee stain recipe and I am dunking them in a mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon and then baking them for a grungy look...they smell great.....I also rusted my crocks to give that old look......
